The water park was fun for the kids, and the ocean view from our room was nice. The indoor pool was very murky and not inviting at all. Staff at the front desk were helpful during check-in.

The location is prime—conveniently situated with a pool, water park, and beach access. Our room was spacious, providing comfort for a family stay. The kids loved the indoor-outdoor water park and the blacklight mini-golf. several areas need attention. Maid service was lacking; we had to manage our own housekeeping. Staff interactions were often unhelpful, making requests for basic necessities frustrating. We faced parking issues, too—only two passes for a three-bedroom suite, forcing one couple to park off-site. the persistent noise and cleanliness could definitely improve. This place has potential, but it needs adjustments to truly shine.

I truly loved how this hotel gave us immediate access to the beach, making it perfect for long walks by the ocean, plus we were just a short stroll away from great dining options like the Ocean View Cafe and Brass Anchor Restaurant, both only a few steps away from our stay, and we also enjoyed thrilling adventures at nearby attractions like Broadway at the Beach and Apache Pier, which are less than 7 km away! The rooms were nice and offered lovely ocean views from the balconies, which made for great evenings relaxing in the breeze, but the staff could have been a bit more organized during our stay.

We were really bummed when we found out the arcade and glow-in-the-dark mini putt were shut down—totally why we booked the place. It was a rainy stay, and we were desperately looking for activities. What a letdown!

So many pools and activities for kids. water slides, mini golf, and an arcade. the beachfront location was perfect for family fun. The restaurant downstairs had fair prices and great food.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but it was still reasonable for what you get.

The room was spacious and bright, but definitely outdated. The bed was uncomfortable, tossing and turning made sleep difficult. Temperature control worked well, keeping the room cool. Unfortunately, our ocean view was obstructed by palm trees, and noise from the delivery truck outside was disruptive. Cleanliness was lacking; we found hair in the tub and sand on the floor. There was a nice balcony with a view, and the kitchen was well-equipped, but it also had only limited cookware. Despite the room's issues, the amenities like the water park and pools were fantastic for the kids.

The noise level was unbearable, especially with karaoke nearby. The staff seemed indifferent, and the heavy marijuana smell permeated the property, which was off-putting. While the beach access was great, the parking situation was a hassle, requiring drives to find space. Some nice updates could make the place feel more welcoming, but right now, it’s a mixed bag of fun and frustration.

The location was excellent, just a stone's throw away from the beach, making it super easy to spend time by the ocean. Ava's Pizzeria nearby was a hidden gem, offering delicious food for a quick bite. The pool area for children was also a hit, providing a fun spot for the little ones to enjoy.
The rooms were disappointing, with dirty surfaces and bugs found in the kitchen area. Housekeeping was nonexistent, and we had to fetch our own towels and toiletries from the front desk.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach with direct access, which made it easy to enjoy the sand and waves anytime. the pool, water park, and oceanfront area provided great entertainment options for families, particularly children, with lots of fun activities to keep everyone happy.
The room cleanliness and maintenance were major letdowns. The dirty and outdated rooms, broken amenities like showers and lights, and lack of proper housekeeping were disappointing.

The pool area seemed more geared towards children with limited options for adults to relax. In our room, we found that the sofa and chair were in need of replacing or at least a thorough cleaning as they didn't look very inviting to sit on. The layout of the room was a bit awkward, with the bed positioned right by the door, and we couldn't fully close one of the patio curtains, which made us feel a bit exposed to neighboring rooms. The hotel staff left something to be desired as well. We had trouble finding clear instructions on the location of our room, and the front desk did not offer much help when we raised concerns about the room's condition and odor. The noise level in the hotel was quite high, and we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms, which was less than ideal for a relaxing stay. the property had a convenient convenience store and two restaurants on-site, which meant we didn't have to venture far if we didn't feel like it. The close proximity to the beach was a definite plus, despite the weather making the water too cold for a comfortable swim during our visit.

We hit up Myrtle Beach and the Sands Beach Club courts , total vibe! There was never a dull moment, plenty of cool events and activities to keep us entertained all day long!
Just wished there was a cooler spot for late, night partying on, site! .

the resort was clean and the location was great. we were really close to the beach and the water park was a blast for the kids. the elevators were super fast. the housekeeping was really attentive and the service staff were all very helpful and nice.

Our stay at Sand Dunes was simply amazing. The location was perfect, right on the beach and close to all the attractions and restaurants. The resort had everything we needed, from a convenience store to a snack bar. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was quick to fix any issues we had, like the air conditioning. The water park and pool options were a hit with the whole family. We will definitely be coming back every year!

we recently stayed at Sand Dunes Resort & Suites and had a great experience. our room was clean, the view was fantastic, and the beds were comfortable. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the included parking. the location was also ideal for our needs.

We were impressed with our 3 bedroom villa on the 12th floor. The ocean view from the balcony was fantastic, and the pools and water park were perfect for our family. we had a great time and are already planning our next stay. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.
